Training Schedule

The brigade has two set training sessions each month:

• First Tuesday of the month between 7:30pm - 9:30pm
• Third Saturday of the month between 1:30pm - 4:30pm

Unless otherwise advised, training kicks-off at the Wamboin Fire Station, 112 Bingley Way, Wamboin.

Training Activities

Brigade facilitated training is focused on seasonal threats and a rolling theme-based program to ensure strengthening of specific skill sets.

We have a Training Officer who is responsible for guiding all New Members from acceptance at their initial interview until they complete their initial mainstream NSW RFS training e.g. Bush Firefighter/Bush Firefighter Support Training and Assessment or Support Crew Induction.

There is also a vast array of training provided by the RFS at the Zone, Region and State levels.
